According to the comic series, every hundred years since the Twin Seeds tower was built, the spire on the top opens the door between Nightopia, and the waking world. Only the Nightmarens know this, however, and will try to get through to take over the waking world. The festival is completely unrelated, based solely on how long the city itself has existed. The festival does however, puts on a musical performance, named Twin Dreams, which allows Claris and Elliot meet for the first time outside of their dreams. Almost nothing is known about this festival, but there is footage of it in the good ending of Nights into Dreams.
