Trivia

  • NiGHTS is portrayed as very childish, selfish and cocky in the book. Insulting both Reala and Elliot despite the later always helping him. When NiGHTS was stuck inside the Ideya Palace, he didn't ask for Elliot to help him, he ordered him to. Neither NiGHTS nor Elliot knew how to break through the Ideya Palace, yet, NiGHTS would still order Elliot to figure out by himself, as Elliot didn't know how to do it, NiGHTS would call him "Idiot".
    • NiGHTS also appears to be very naive, as when Reala challenges him for a game, he doesn't notice it is a trap.
    • Also, unlike in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, NiGHTS doesn't care about Elliot finding out he is a nightmaren.
  • Unnamedwizemanminion

NiGHTS paralooping a Kircle and a purple nightmaren who never appeared in the games.

In the book, there's a page where a never-before-seen purple third level Nightmaren appears. This Nightmaren appears to have caveman-like motif.
    • This nightmaren is the first and so far only nightmaren to not debut in a NiGHTS game.
  • The book didn't feature any second level nightmaren.
  • Claris makes a cameo in the last page.
  • The book's events happen on Spring Valley, which is a Claris dreamworld in the game, but an Elliot's dreamworld in the book.
  • Crewle, Pole and Gao were the only the only third level nightmarens that didn't appear in the book.
    • Shleep also didn't appear when the nightmarens attacked, but a Shleep icon can be seen in one of the first pages.
      • It's also possible to see what appears to be a Shleep in the page which introduces the nightmarens behind Reala and under two shadowy nightmarens.
  • NiGHTS goes by male pronouns in the book, even nicknaming himself "Mr. NiGHTS".
