Junko Takeuchi (竹内 順子 Takeuchi Junko) is a Japanese actress and voice actress who voiced William Taylor in the Japanese version of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. She is also the voice of Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto, Rin Natsuki/Cure Rouge from Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo, Gon Freecss from the original 1999 version of Hunter x Hunter (Megumi Han voiced him in 2011 version), Mamoru Endou/Mark Evans from the Inazuma Eleven series, Takuya Kanbara from Digimon Frontier, Shiro Takaoji from Ouran High School Host Club, and many other main characters she voices. She is known for singing Chou Hatsumei Boy Kanipan's insert song, Digimon Adventure's insert song, Digimon Frontier's insert song, Inazuma Eleven's seventh ending, Inazuma Eleven's movie's ending, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!'s fourth ending, Medarot's first opening, and Onegai♪My Melody Kirara★'s second and third endings, respectively. She is married to voice actor Kenji Hamada (met 1999, married 2006) as they have two children, respectively born in 2012 and 2017. She and her family also own their three cats.
